These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Unlockroads platform, including all features, services, and content available through our website and related applications.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use Unlockroads for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Modify or copy the materials
Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on Unlockroads
Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

3. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password and for all activities that occur under their account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security of your password and identification
Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Booking and Cancellation

Bookings are subject to instructor availability. Cancellation policies vary by instructor and are clearly stated on each instructor's profile. Unlockroads acts as a platform connecting students and instructors and is not responsible for disputes between parties.

When you book a lesson through Unlockroads:

You enter into a direct agreement with the instructor
Payment terms are as specified by the instructor
Cancellation policies are set by individual instructors
Unlockroads facilitates the connection but is not a party to the booking agreement

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.

We comply with UK data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

6. Important Disclaimer

Unlockroads is an independent platform and is not affiliated with the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency).

We are a marketplace that connects UK learners with DVSA-approved driving instructors. While we verify that instructors are DVSA-approved, we do not provide driving instruction or certification services ourselves. All driving instruction is provided by independent, DVSA-approved instructors who are responsible for their own services and compliance with DVSA regulations.

Unlockroads does not guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of any driving lessons. Users are responsible for verifying instructor credentials and making their own decisions regarding bookings.

7. Limitation of Liability

Unlockroads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the use of Unlockroads shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
